libv-perl software package provides module for printing the version of specified perl module(s), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libv-perl
libv-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libv-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libv-perl *
You will get with libv-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
